Elena & Giorgos, wedding in Athens and Peloponnese

These lovebirds are two awesome and adorable human beings. Giorgos is a warm-hearted person, a gentleman, madly in love with Elena. I have to admit that the couple was this year’s surprise. During the pre-wedding session, I captured two of my favourite portraits. These photographs have a very unique perspective and you can stare at them for hours! Let’s take this story from the beginning…

The two of them saw me in action last year when I was the wedding photographer of their friends Fotini and Lefteris. Ever since, they followed my work and when the time came for them to plan their own wedding, they immediately contacted me. Trusting me and my judgement, they listened carefully to my advice and we worked together to organize their dreamy wedding! The couple enjoyed their wedding day to the fullest and they had a great time with their family and friends.

A couple of days later, I travelled with the couple to Peloponnese for our photo shooting session. This was not just an after-wedding session but an extraordinary adventure and exploration of the great scenery. Starting by wandering around Diakopto railway station, we were enjoying the view of the magnificent and famous Odontotos Rack Railway. In the meantime, we explored the numerous carriages of the train and later on, we followed the path to Doksa Lake. Choosing the path that goes through the green forest, we were mesmerised by the colour palette surrounding us. For me, it was not the first time I planned a photo shooting to this area. However, whenever I go back to this natural landscape, it is always a new experience for me, because every season there is reflected in different shapes and colours! It is pure magic!

I wish the best to the newlyweds! Thank you for the great teamwork!
